Professionals

Professionals is how a coach brings in a mentor or outside expert — scoped to one area, for a set period, seeing only what's shared with them.

The invitation form: email, area of help, an access-end date, and a picker for which work items and channels to share

What a professional can see

Nothing, until you pick it. Share these records lists the team's work items and channels as checkboxes — a professional sees exactly what you tick and nothing else on the team. There's no "give them everything" option; access is built one grant at a time.

Access always ends

Every invitation carries an Access ends date. When it passes, their access ends automatically — a coach renews it to extend, rather than access quietly running forever.

Background checks

The Background check field records what the coach already knows — submitted, on file, or not recorded. connectFIRST doesn't run background checks itself; this is a record-keeping field, not a verification service.

They're never a coach

A professional's account has no roster access, no approval power, and no visibility into anything outside their own grants — the same boundary that makes a self-served mentor sign-up meaningless without going through this screen first.
